Should I install Iridium plugs (Denso, NGK)? Good or bad? What's your take on this subject. Also, would you recommend a full Synthetic oil such as Mobile 1 Truck & SUV.
All input is welcome.....Iric
Not knowing what engine you have, if it is the 3V 5.4 you are limited to very few plug manufacturers based on the plug design! Not sure NGK even makes a plug for the 3V 5.4!
As far as oil the Motorcraft 5W-20 is a synth blend and if changed as per your useage schedule should be fine. You can get it at Walmart.
You will not see any difference between the Motorcraft 5w-20 synth blend and if you can find it 5w-20 Mobil 1!

Kevin there is a big difference between these 2... The Price
I would stick with the factory plugs. There have been issues with blown plugs and these engines so you want to do everthing by the book to prevent it from happening to you. I ran my 1999 V-10 with oem plugs, changed them at 100k and the truck ran great till I traded it in with 175k on it.
