Hey All!
I recently purchased a 2005 F150 4.6L from my employer who happens to be a Toyota dealership. Got an awesome deal that I could'nt pass up, considering the Ford dealership would love to rape me & then take my money. I have had many Mustangs without regret, so, I thought I would give the truck a try. I am not disappointed, even with the smaller V8. My father in law has the 04' 5.4L, drives VERY conservative (what's that mean?), & he uses twice as much gas as I do, lead foot and all. I thought I would regret the 4.6, the way gas prices are going, I dont regret it at all.
I already installed an AEM Brute Force intake, and a Magnaflow muffler. My Edge programmer should arrive tomorrow, just received my Fabtech 6" lift. I will install the lift, 35x12.5/17's, & 4.30 something gears within the next few weeks.
I have learned a lot from reading everyones posts and will have many questions. Glad to see that everyone is very helpful, to the point, and willing to go extra lengths to help a fellow Ford Truck Enthusiast out.
