I know everyone has had vibrations of one kind or another with their 04's, including me, but I haven't heard this one. If I'm cruising the e-ways, if I dare go above 80 mph when I back off the throttle I get a shudder through the whole truck until I'm below 80 mph. Only 80 and above it does this, anybody have this sort of problem? The dealer says they could't duplicate the problem, yet its done it from day one for me and everytime above 80 and I'm pushing 49000 miles and am getting really tired of it. I have extended warranty on it. Oh buy the way, my wife has the same truck only an 06 and it it great at any speed.

You say this has happened from day one, has it been documented? Has it been back to the dealer 3 or more times for the same problem? If so, you may be able to get ford to buy it back under your states lemon law, but this is no easy task (depending on the state ) I woud say if you answered yes to the first two questions you have a good chance of returning it, but with 49K miles, your miliage charges won't be cheep. The 04 I had, did the same thing you describe, could not be driven above 80 without serious concerns for my safety, I chose to let the dealer do a RAV, one step below lemon buyback (re-acquired vehicle which was generous on my part, because it does not go in the books as a lemon buyback) I paid $1900 milage and other fees for 2700 miles.
I know very soon you will see this response from someone here........Do a search on lemon law!
