Ok be prepared for your transmission to slip even worse if you drain your fluid and put fresh in. Believe it or not the old AOD tranny runs better with old fluid that has some particles in it if you do add fresh fluid don't trust any of the additives such as lucas just go with what your owner's manual tells you too. My 93 AOD started slipping just a bit under load on right hand turns so I took it to the dealer and had the tranny filter and fluid changed and the minute i pulled out on to the highway it slipped worse than before thats when the service department told me that with a old transmission sometimes it's better NOT to put fresh fluid in. I think he was hoping I would pay them for a costly repair but I swapped it out on a rebuilt aod myself
