I pinholed my water inlet while removing my lower radiator hose.
havin a hard time finding a replacement.
I pluged the hole with a self tapping screw with gasket maker. but it wont hold forever. It is slowly seeping some $11 a gallon fluid. 1/2 gallon over 200 miles.
Not sure what a water inlet adapter is, can you explain more? Have you tried draining the system and drying out the area, clean really well and then some epoxy? A little JB Weld does miracles sometimes.
JB weld is a good idea.
Epoxy beats a 75$ part from the stealership.
the part is the inlet to the water pump from the radiator.
A 2" elbow witha groove so the hose doesn't slide up too far.
Why can't you touch it with a wire feed welder and repaint it? It's made out of steel, very easily patched.
Go to any shop in town, body shop, muffler shop, welder shop. They could easily do it for you if you don't have a welder. Then you don't have to worry about the JB holding or not.
