bought a 1976 f-100 from sask surplus. it comes from candle lake. i used to drive it when i worked up there. it is in pretty good shape so i will use the body for my 4x4. it is a 360 4 speed, baby blue custom with no power steering or brakes. from what i remember, it use to do good burnouts (kids eh).
i wanted to buy the truck a couple of years ago then i seen it for sale in the paper in saskatchewan property management with all the other gov surplus vehicles so i thru a bid on it and got it.
That was good enough, you may have gotten it cheap or lost it. Hard to say with a bid. I was tempted to bid $2,000 on the 92 Mustang LX 5.0 at SGI but though it won`t go that high as the last one I got it for $1,500 plus taxes.
nice, i saw a wicked 78/79 today, red with all the chrome... the BEST looking truck Ford ever made i think... i really need to start on my 78 shortbox..
