Leveling Kit NEED HELP!!!
I have a 1990 f250 xlt lariat 4x4 and I cannot find any way to bring up the front end to sit level. All it needs is about an 1 1/2" lift for the front to be fine. I have recently tried add-a-leafs but that did not work out at all. I had 2 4x4 shops try it also and with the twin I beam suspension that my pickup has, it is impossible for the alignment guys to get it aligned. So now, I am out of ideas xcept for a full suspension lift but I dont want to pay the big bucks for it seeing as im a college student now. Any Suggestions?

Are you trying to restore it to the factory height or actually level it to the rear? A new set of "stock" springs will bring it back to original,but the rear is still going to be a little higher (nature of the beast).You don't need a "full" lift kit,if you go with an add-a-leaf or re-arched springs you'll just have to get new "axle pivot brackets".Otherwise as you've found out,you most likely won't be able to get the camber set properly.

Well, I dont know if this is true or not but I was told that i needed drop brackets in order for it to be aligned right and they tried sticking me with a bill that was over $800 when they quoted me $150 for the add-a-leafs installed? Are these axle pivot brackets the drop brackets they are talking about and if so, where can I get them? Also, I am trying to get it to set level with the rear, which the add-a-leafs did but the truck couldnt be aligned right. It did look good though....even though the axle was tweaked so bad. And my pickup doesnt have springs.....unless your talking about replacing the whole spring pack (leaf pack).
