fog light question

I have searched and found how to make my fogs run with parking lights by modifying the headlight switch. I was thinking of putting in a seperate toggle switch under the dash. this is for a 97 F150 w/ factory fogs.

I think I have seen the one you are talking about where you file the switch ramp down w/ a dremel tool? A toggle switch is a alright Idea but if you want them to come on with your parking lights and also with your head lights just hard wire them into your parking lights and this will eliminate the need for a toggle switch and keep holes out of your dash and keep your switch stock unless you want to turn them off then this won't work. Then I would go with the switch mod I have talked to guys who have done this and they said it wasn't too bad.

I have a 97 F250 that I installed fog lights on and I replaced the headlight switch with one that had the fog light option. I just wired it up and connected the fog lights so they came on with the low beams. It looks like a stock setup with no holes in the dash.

I found a post on how to make them DRLs and that they work with low and high beams.
