stals when put in gear
My 2000 f150 4.6 - stalls when placed in gear. this started 2 weeks ago when out of town. I took it to a ford dealer and they said it was a fuel idel valve and they replaced and the problem went away. Today it started all over again. It starts fine and idles fine accelerates smooth until I put it in gear and it stalls. Could the valve be bad already? What would cause this ?

No they said it is in the trainy's torque converter, my fluid is pretty dirty and they said I needed it flushed but when they hooked it up to flush and put it in reverse they said the pressure went up to 92 lbs and it shouldn't have gone above 20 lbs. Of corse their trainy guy is on vacation. I guess I'll wait and see and talk to as many people as I can till then.
