Wheel Question

I have an 03' F-150 FX4 with BFG AT 285/70/17 Tires on stock 17" Rim. I am going tonight to look at the 06' SCREW FX4 with BFG 275/65/18. Does anyone know if the 06' lugs are the same as the 03'. Can I put my existing tires and wheels on new truck? I know some may laugh at this but I just spent $1000 on tires and would like to keep em but with 0% I would like to see what I can do. Thanks

I believe 2004-2006 F150's are all 6 lug except for the heavy duty which is a 7 lug. Your '03 is a five lug rim right?

Thats correct. The New body style F150's have a 6 lug wheel pattern starting in 04 and F150 that pre dates that has the 5 lug pattern.
