Advice needed

Hey guys...first time posting. I'm an owner of a 2001 F150. My dealership just informed me I needed a new oil pan because the thread nut inside has came untack. They said it came undone due to normal wear and tear...seems a little early for something like that to happen to a 4 year old truck. My question...is this normal wear and tear or could this have been cause due to negligence on their behalf...over tightning of the bolt? $900 is pretty expensive for an oil change!

Huh... The what came unwhat?

It sounds like they (or someone else) stripped the drain threads on the oil pan.
