I had that on occation as well. Might want to check your body mounts. At least that what the stealership told me. When I had my accident they replaced a couple and it went away. This is only a possibility, please keep that in mind. Good luck in your quest to finding the noise and let us know would you? I still get a creeking sound every once in a while driving down the road.

mine comes from the spring pads going over any bump larger then a pianted line. Very annoying but not worth the money to fix. I say that knowing full well I will freak out one day and dump a load of cash on new aftermarket springs.

in addition to that creaking sound...i'm also getting a whining sound when i turn the wheel at slow speeds. My power steering is fine so i know that has nothing to do with it. Some say its the boot....any truth to this?
