Clutch Problem
I recently bought a used 95 f250, 7.3 diesel engine. I had to replace the DuelMass Flywheel. with a solid flywheel kit(Clutch, Flywheel, Preassure Plate, Bearings..) Sinse i have had a lot of trouble getting it in 1st & reverse. i have replaced both the master & Slave & blead it well. I feel the clutch is not being released enough when the pedal is pressed.. From a stoped position i press the clutch & slowly put it in gear you can feel the truck move forward a small bit, the same for reverse. Some one told me to Shim the flywheel but that might bring starter problems? Thanks In Advanced.. betonesto@runbox.com
