I can't seem how to remove the dang headlights from my '92 heavy duty. They I can't figure it out. Is there a specific manner i should do it? Looks like the fenders have to come off to get to some of the screws...thanks
the only things you have to remove are the washer fluid tank on the drivers side and the battery and tray on the passengers side. i could sit here and explain this to you all day but what i suggest is that you get a small mirror and look for two bolts with nuts on them that are directly under the headlights
you cant see them otherwise. you can feel around for them all day but if you dont have a very good idea where they are you will be there till dark. plus the diagrams dont help at ALL so dont even try to look at them. all they will tell you is the number for the screw you cant find. maybe this will help direct your anger(so you know who or what you are cussing at) i guess.
good luck
oh by the way . . . "pulling really hard" as a technique will -not- work --trust me lol
you dont really need to take the grill off either but i can see how it would help.
get a pack of the small bandaids. and a pack of the butterfly stitches. .. just trust us
see, here is a quote from one of my posts after i replaced the headlights:
"ojkj i fginjisdhedf!"
i only kept getting the "i" right cause the blood dripping on it made it heavier than the "" and the "u" keys.
