flushing question
I completely flushed my system including both block drains.
? is I had a small issue with the elbow out of the water pump and noticed some small rust spots as I left the upper housing empty overnight.
Well this morning I re-drained both block drains they came out clear with distilled water and I am concerned that the block may have recived some surface rust as it had 100% distilled water overnight, possible air in the upper engine. So is there an additive to help with this potential internal rust?
(my birthday so I get to wrench) :P

BTW I filled with 50/50 red today

If by "50/50 red" you mean the Cat EC-1 or equivilent....it's got all the rust inhibitors, etc. that you need. Should be good to go.
The only thing you might consider adding is a coolant filter to pick up the loose stuff that may be suspended.
