If anybody wants to help I will put a list together. Even if it ends up getting e-mailed to each other. You can put it on Word or something and add as you hear of new ones.
But I will be glad to start something.
Give me some names.
And I really didn't mean to start any kind of argument. Just trying to be helpful. (To myself and everyone else(I need a lot of parts))

kcb37,
go to the sticky thread for "group tech articles" at the top of the forum. then to the "internet parts chasing" link. There is a start of a list there, maybe you can combine that with George's list and whatever you already have.

Thanks
Bobby

I appreciate your help, Bobby. I have already started one with the places I know of and from all the adds I have in magazines, what I catch from other posts here, and anywhere else I see one. The only thing I don't like is that I haven't really bought anything for my Ford yet. I have a 68 Dodge that I got a seat and a tailgate for, but that was from a junkyard. Ooh I got a taillight for my Dodge. If I remeber right it was around $50.00 dollars to purchase and have sent. For a flat piece of red plastic! (But it was a brand new repo, so I can't complain to much) That is another purpose I hope to get out of this. Finding cheaper parts.
Thank You for your help.

Angry OLD PARTS MINING CO>

I just ran across this post on the H.A.M.B., since there was a post refering to this Co here on FTE I thought I'd bring it up.

Hey Mr.F-1, you live in Scottsdale, do you know this Dirtbag?

I wouldn't want to be around when the Mob gets there.

I remember that thread and liked the look of the website, but haven't investigated further.

I just deleted him from my favorites list.

Once warned...

Hmmmm.... Very interesting.

And wasn't it WillyB who first sounded him out as a scheister vendor in disguise?

Hmmmm... Thanks, boys.

The 47 and older guys have a thread or list where they listed all of their suppliers. Might want to search that forum for a good list of suppliers.

Now I know that the site has to make money but we are taking in the butt because we only hear about the sites and vendors that can pony up the $$.
Trouble with this is we only hear about the vendors that have the money, Not the places that have our hobby and budget in mind. Most end up paying more for something they could have gotten for much less at a mom and pop store.

I will use the poster as an example. He heard about LMC for a tailgate. A company that charges about 20-30% more then most any other company for their parts. LMC wanted 400.00 bucks for a 49 tailgate that another company that does not advertise here sells for 285.00. A company that can not afford the over priced media package this site offers.

Again I love this site and I really love the people here. but free info helps everyone. After all we are here to keep history alive. The guy that started this tread has a great point. We need to have a free source here for vendors.

You have my support.
Your view is interesting Nate. Seeing as how you sell marked up parts you buy from other vendors
