transfercase
I have a 1984 bronco 2. im swaping my engine with a 302 as well as a larger transmission but have not decided on one yet. my question is weather i will have to swap my transfercase out or if i can upgrade it or what. anyone with an idea or a answere please tell me . thanks

The easiest thing is to transplant the whole drivetrain from a F-150, transfer case included. The best thing is to use the 302/transmission from the F-150 and use your transfer case with an adapter because of the BII's short wheelbase.

There are adaptors out there you can buy to use the bii transfer case but they are high dollor. My 302 ranger has a 4 speed (T-18) and an advance adaptor on it with manual stock ranger t-case. It works well but the adapter was costly.
