3.8 heads

could i put the 3.8 heads and sc intake from tbirdon my 97 4.2 f150

Yes you can. Some things to keep in mind; with a 9.2/1 CR your going to want a better intercooler than the stock supercoupe one as well as a good tune and some fuel delivery upgrades. Also, the stock supercoupe pancake manifold is going to be a major restriction for the heavier breathing of the 4.2 so it would be smart to have that manifold ported. Skipping the fuel upgrades, intercooler or tune could put your Hyperyoucrackedit pistons in harms way.

The intake won't fit. The 4.2 has a taller deck height than the 3.8 meaning the heads are farther apart. It is like trying to put a 5.0 intake on a 5.8.
