Hey 4x4 guys, I tore into the '71 I just bought and found a spooled 3.73 in the rear end. I have no use for it so I was wondering what something like that is worth to sell? (trying to divert some resto costs!!!)
thanks
I don't know the difference between a mini spool and a full spool. This is my first project still learning sorry. All I know is that it is a ford 9" dropout with a carrier that has no spider gears. The truck used to hook up hard. I am turning it into a daily driver.
Thank you for the info. I beileve it is a full spool. I was going to put it on e-bay, but, didn't know what something like that would be worth. There is nothing wrong with it. I just was tired of driving with a fully locked rear end.
unfortunatly or fortunatly depending on which side you are on 9" stuff is cheap, I have a place I can buy billet steel full drag spools brand new for $100, and personally wouldn't give over $20 for a used spool of any type.
If you sell it make it a local sale, if selling the whole 3rd member, so you do not get some loser with -1 feedback bidding on it from across the ocean.
