Paintable mirrors?
Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone has painted their exterior mirrors to match the color of the truck. I am interested in doing that but alot of the body shops will not do it. Also I would like to know if Ford sells primered mirrors. I would love to keep my OEM mirrors instead of buying the smaller aftermarket ones. Any help would be appreciated.

I had thought of doing something similar. I was figuring I may have to do a thin "skim-coat" of body filler or liquid plastic all over the things I wanted to paint, otherwise I would end up with really bad 'orange-peel' finish. It seems that would be the easiest method for me, with out buying the OEM-paintable mirror or overlays.
