Has anyone received any type of "thank you gifts" from Ford for buying there products? I rememeber a few years back when we bought a G* product, they sent us a nice flashlight and umbrella bag kit. Just wondering if Ford does this.

 

Shortly after purchase of my F250 LD in 1988 they sent me a solar powered calculator to promote their vehicle insurance program. It is 5" x 7" with large keys, easier to use than the little credit card size ones which are popular with vendor promotions, and I use it all the time. But thats the only gift I have ever received from them.

 

When my brother in law bought his 98 Exployer, he got a few of those folding, fabric take along chairs and a first aid kit. When I bought my 04 scab, I got absolutely nothing. When ford first released the "all new f150" did anyone get anything? I would have thought they would have given away some promo stuff. But then again, ford is now really hard up for cash. They probably can't afford to do promo's anymore.

 

I got my payment book does that count?

I guess that isn't really from Ford so it doesn't.

 

I got a commemorative F-Series blanket in the mail shortly after I bought my 1999 F-150. Nothing with the 2002 or 2004.

 

I got one of those calculators too- after I requested a quote and found out that they were double what I was paying with Liberty Mutual...!

 

i got jack squat... but when my buddy leased a brand new ranger (from the same dealership only 2 weeks after i got my F150) he got a black leather jacket

 

I got the blanket with my 98, then with the 02 Harley got a name plate and a utility knife.

 

When I bought my 2004 Ranger, I got a 6 month subscription to Motor Trend, and a 6 month subscribtion to "My Ford" magizine, along with two tickets to the North American Auto Show here in Detroit.

"My Ford" magizine is cool, but Motor Trend doesnt interest me. Now I cant get them to leave me alone to re-subcribe

 

I bought a 96 F-150 Eddie Bauer and got a soft side suitcase. The truck is long gone but the suitcase is still used all the time.

Nothing for my 04 FX4 or 05 F250.

I have been getting "My Ford" magazine for a long time. Didn't know you needed to subscribe.

 

I got nothing for my purchase of an 05 F150 supercrew now that I think about it that bites.

 

Nothing on my F150, but on my '00 Focus, I got a calculator, a Casio G-Shock watch, and a thermal mug.

It was probably an intro promo, because I bought like the second one sold in a town of about 250,000. I wasn't even expecting it, got it in the mail a few months later.

 

When I purchasd my 06 Chrome Edition I got a $500 gift card from Cabela's. I had a coupon from My Ford magazine the dealer had to fill out. I sent it in and gift card arrived in about 6 weeks.

Bought some catch-all mats, hitch, ball, jumper cables, coat, and some boots. Still have a few bucks worth of credit left.

 

When I purchased my 04 supercrew I got Craftsman 5 piece 18v set. Drill and Recip. saw no longer work but light and circular saw do. Ah well at least they tried!

 

When I purchased a 01 supercrew, I got a supercrew blanket. I have a coworker who purchased a 03 T-Bird & got nothing. We at least thought he'd
get a keychain or something. I don't think they do that anymore.
