15x8 wheel offset/backsp

ok, i have a 79 f150 4x4 w/6.5" lift, 4"bl and i will be using 38x12.50 tsl SX tires. my question is i need to know how to order my 15x8 steel wheels with my tires. i do not know what i need. right now i have some 35 mud kings on 15x7or8 i really dont know, but the hub is about flush with the outside of the wheel, and it rubs the radius arms. i need to know what a good spec 15x8 wheel would be better for my radius arm rubbing, but i dont want them sticking out so far that you could sit on the wheel and rest your back on the fender!!! i searched but couldnt find what i was looking for. thanks

On the 15x8 order it with 3 inch backspacing if you can. Don't go more then 4".

If you want to minimize rubbing what you should do is get 15x10 rims instead with 3-4" backspacing. That way your tire/wheel assembly will only be sticking into the wheel well 1"-2" over stock.

ok i will prolly try to order it with 3in backspacing. so 4in backspacing would bring the wheel/tire too close into the wheel well and rub like my previous ones right??? i would like to stay with a 15x8 wheel but get it stuck out a bit to not rub my radius arms
