Balljoint Replacement - Need help fast!

OK, I'm about to remove the axle and I can't get it to push through the knucle. Looks like there is some kind of seal on the back side thats too big to push through the hole. Please help!

Need more details. Is it your 2004 F350 Crew Cab? 4x4? I assume you're talking about the passenger side? What hole?

yup 4x4. Crew Cab, 2004. I just removed the thrust washer. Im using the guide in the tech folder. Next step sais to remove the axle by prying behind the dust seal but the axle wont go throught the hole in the knucle where the other end of the axle is sticking out. And yes, this is the passenger side.

I think I follow what you're saying. I'm assuming you're trying to slide out the axial & u-joint ***'y through the spindle? (Hope I understand that's what you mean ) If so, you have to remove the spindle off first; it's the only way.

How would I get the spindle off? Or can I try to push the knucle seal through?

And just in case:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=354091

Step 13 in this guide And 14 shows a pic of the knuckle seal.

I can see the knucle seal and its loose, just wont push through.
