Help I screwed up!

I forgot to disconnect the battery cable when I was checking an egr connection on my 1992 f150. I accidently grounded out the connector and now when I try to start the engine it will not start. I must have blown a fuse or relay but I dont know how to find out since the check engine light will not come on and I am unable to pull codes either. I hope I didn't fry the computer Unfortunately my truck is stranded in a parking lot in an undesirable location. Any help appreciated!

Here's a diagram for your truck if you have a 5.0 or 5.8. It shows you have maxi fuses which should be in a fuse box under the hood.

I'll assume you have a "Cranks but does not START" condition.

Probably lost PCM power since the CEL won't come on. Fuel pump likely isn't running either at initial key-on.

Focus on maxifuses "I" and "U" and the PCM POWER relay first.

Since you did short out the EGR line, I'd suspect maxifuse "I" first, then the relay.

It turns out that my loss of power was just a 20amp maxi fuse. Thanks alot to those who responded!
