which 5.0??

my dad says a truck 5.0 and a car 5.0 are different....something about the oil pan or pump bein in a different place...(front or back). and he was wondering which one he needed to get to put in a 87-89 ranger. i appreciate it.

You'll need a custom oil pan to clear the cross member, they sell them specifically for 5.0 swaps into the Rangers.

James Duff enterprizes has the 5.0 conversion kits. Also a mustang gt 5.0 has a roller cam shaft.
