Pink'72 Ford

It is pink on the top and white on the bottom just below the chrome and completely stock with a 360 2 barrel. A trucker came through the yard the other day and said they are rare. The truck is in pretty good shape. It has surface rust with holes in the bottom of the doors. What is it worth, what can it be worth. Our family is long time Ford people.

You should look at your door data plate and check the paint code. The color list for 72 trucks does not include a pink as far as I've been able to determine so this may be a special order if it's an original color. This would make it a rare combination. As for value, beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Nothing rare about the truck except the color, and that can be easily changed. Maybe that trucker was looking for a good time with the trucks owner.
