Warning on drip rail trim
Anyway, just thought i would let anyone who doesn't know that if you paint your truck,or want drip rail trim to remove it very, very carefully.IF you get any twist in it,forget it.
It is ruined.I am on my second set becuase the first was real tight on the truck i got it off of,and yep,it twisted.
I actaully found some NOS from a big time Ford guy here in town,he has a custom rod shop and all Ford at that,He told me that it is a joke.Well that was after the fact but just a waring, dont buy it from the classifieds!!!!!!Unless it's NOS,otherwise it is almost garunteed to be twisted and usless.
Hey is ol StockMan still around? If so,Thom,I would just leave it on your Explorer and find it NOS for your "mini"Fire truck.
...Take care,

.ALso,i bet there is somebody that has (pun intened),pulled it off.A suggestion would be to:
When you use the bottle opener,to go in half inch increments,I never exceded 3 inches but that stuff is like spring steel and has a mind of it's own.ALso,If you ever have the vertical peices on your truck damaged,no fear, those stayed straight as could be.
It was the top two peices that meet that was tough.I think the side peices could be a done deal.
And yeah, they all were soaked with PB Blaster.

See ya' Thom
