1997 Explorer XLT
Does anyone have suggestions on where I can get an owner's manuel for this vehicle? I bought this explorer recently and have no idea how to operate the radio/cassette/cd player. I really would like to set the clock, lol.
2nd question, is there a way to turn on the diagnostic computer to see if there are any error or trouble codes? I know on some vehicles you can turn the key on and off a certain amount of times and the codes will flash on the dashboard.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You need a OBDII reader to get the codes. Most Autozones will pull them for free. Call ahead to make sure.

It is Fords owner page. If you sign up it will check for recalls that are needed and give you the owners manual, radio manual, ect. No cost to sign up. Has maintenance charts and other good info. You can use your Ford username/password to log in to the Motorcraft web site for more usefull info.
