Edge downloading updates????

Get ready for some stupid questions here! I just got my new Edge for my F150 and I went in to change the shift firmness on Level one and when I tried to save the info it said "this vehicle calibration is not yet supported, check for updates and call tech support". So I look on the website, and mostly I see a bunch of latin. But I do see where it lists calibration revisions and the hex file for my truck isn't listed there. NOW WHAT? I'm sorta stuck here, do I just call tech support? Technology and me just don't get along

Call Edge! The folks there are extremely helpful. If they can't answer your questions then no one can. They should have you up and running in no time. You can get their number right off of your manual.

Well I called and my truck is so new they don't have a calibration file for it yet but it should be done within a week. Have you ever actually downloaded updates before. Do you just plug the chord into your unit and the other to a USB port and go to the website and it automatically updates?

Lightning® software allows the user to update their Evolution to the latest version of firmware and calibration files. It also allows you to review data from your vehicle that you’ve recorded. The software can be downloaded for free from Edge Products website at https://local.edgeproducts.com/edge/..._download.html , or the CD can be purchased for a small fee by calling (801) 476-3343.
Note: Make sure you install both the SOFTWARE and the DRIVERS that it comes with before hooking up the Evolution to your PC. Driver installation can be found under the Start Menu in "All Programs\Edge Products\USB Drivers\Install USB Drivers". Failing to do so will cause the software to not work properly with the device.
Connecting the Evolution to a PC is as easy as finding an open USB port, hooking the Evolution to it and running the Lightning® software. Below is an explanation of the different features available:
