429 Block
Hello guys. Im a new to ford guy. i took ownership of a 1978 f250 xlt ranger. it has a 4speed manual in it. not sure what transforcase. But reading forums i believe i have a a 69' 429 block with dove-c heads and dove-9425-b intake. the crank is a 4u. with a holly card. does this some like a good solid engine to rebuild. And is this any type of special 429 block or is it just standard. What horse power should i expect with engine.

Welcome to the site.
Specific Engine questions should really be asked in the engine forums.
The 429 was never put in light trucks from the factory.
Maybe head to the 385 engine series forum.
