more check engine
Just a quick question. Got an '88' 4x4 4.9l 6. Is the check engine light supposed to flash or come on constant? Mine flashes usually during acceleration then shuts off. Not suffisticated enough to pull codes yet. I'd appreciate suggestions on what code reader y'all suggest and the price.

you can get an OBD1 code reader just about anywhere for $30.
