1979 (actually 78) Ford 1/2 ton
It runs extremely well with a 300 4 spd. the only reason I bought it was the 2.75 rear end, but while driving it home and around the motor is too good.
I'm going to put on the grille from my 1976 and minor bodywork/ paint.
This was a estate truck and the guy was in the proccess of restoring it I think. Most of the rust work is donr, just driver cab corner.
This truck used to be a 302 auto but was changed over. It was once quite pimped up as I have holes in my doors for 6 by 9 speakers and several other changes that lead me to believe this.
It's black right now, When I took off the front bumper I noticed it used to be blue.
I'm thinking of trying a two tone either white and dark green or white and dark blue.
Red does look good on htem though I used to like the white and dark blues, they looked realy good too. And im sure I asked you this before but you do paint your own vehicles right?
Geeez Snow, you're an animal.
You must be ready to sell me that 85 4x4 dirt cheap. You'll need some spending cash to put into all these other beauties you keep picking up.
I like the idea of a two tone the two tone paint is awesome on these trucks it really looks good to me i dont mind the solid color paint either i think white and dark blue would look good..
I guess the 4 by 4 is still for sale, I manage my money though, I decide what colour to paint by what can I can find lying around.
I just painted this last truck on Sunday Monday. it is black and aluminium, thanks to some parts from Fomo that I got on Sunday It's no longer Chebby Chevy ugly.
