v10 fuel pump problems?
Hello--need all the help I can get--we have a new (9000miles) 05 Tioga--30 foot motor home with the v10--seems that as you are driving and without warning the motor just stops--leaving you with no steering or breaks--not to bad unless you are in traffic or traveling up or DOWN a mountain pass! we are now on our 3rd fuel pump--the dealer says they have had "tons of problems" with these units and can't keep them in stock--on one trip down to florida none were availabe in the state and they had to ship one out of atlanta--Anyone having similar problems? any other data on this problem--sure hate to be driving down wolf creek pass and can't get it to steer or stop! remember I will be out there on the road with you--look out for a big 30 foot box out of control----thanks

Yes I have an '05 V10 that died a half dozen times on me about a year ago, generally on a slight incline. I took it in under warranty and they replaced the throttle positioning sensor, and the problem immediately went away.
Unfortunately, the problem may be returning, as the engine died on me again last week!
In any event, this isn't a totally uncommon complaint, so I'd take it in...
