wicked wheel
I was doing some searching on the wicked wheel and had a few questions. I have a 2003 7.3 with the kwik filter and mbrp 5" exhaust. I am slowly doing all the mods i read about on here as i get time. I will eventually be getting a chip for the truck. I read that the ww will decrease low end power a little bit. I also read that if i add a chip chances are i will get turbo surge and will need the ww to fix that. My question is this wheel worth the loss of power. Also any other advice on this or any other mods would be great. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with new to diesel guys like me.

Do you tow heavy? That's about the only time you would need the wheel with stock programming. Other than that folks to add it just for the sound it makes.
Once you chip it and start experiencing surge you'll need it, and the power loss (if any) is not so great that it will hurt you if you decide to do it before hand.
