Found another 79 crew cab sunday. The guy cut the truck in half and used the bed to make a trailer. He is gonna sell me the front half of the truck. I feel another project coming on.

Hey all, been preoccupied but realize I'll never be a Master Poster unless I jump in more.

Toddn78, I'm jealous... when I grow up I want a 4x4 ... I've found some frames w trannys and such 2. but alas, one thing at a time!

I know where a 79 4x4 is. They want $650 for it. It needs a bed though.

Hmmm, sure is tempting. I'm hesitant to take on something that might take awhile to complete and don't have a place to store. We've talked about this b4. Been thinking about it.... maybe we can make it mutually beneficial. I'll talk to you soon. sure would like one.

Well this has been a good welcome from everybody and I appreciate it. I've Been working on my F100... put the grille shell, light bezels, grille and front bumper on. The driver's side is depressed about a half inch straining the grille so now I'm thinking look at what's behind that... guess go to body forum.

Made progress on my F250 too... scraped and wire brushed the frame, and slapped degreaser on it to. What a mess. Going to see what I can do to clean it up more. Had my nephew whining he didn't like it one bit. I almost bought a pressure washer but I changed my mind. I could use one around the house though.

Hope to tool around in these trucks and see some FTE friends around town in theirs too!
