New Tire Recommendations
I have to replace the tires on my 1971 F250 camper special. The previous ones were 16" Dunlop all season radials, load range E (I load up a 2000 pound truck camper on ocassion). The present tires lasted well but they started losing traction in the rain and snow even though there was still plenty of tread left. They did last for 10 years/40,000 miles so no complaints there. Any idea if I need to have load range E (would D be sufficient) to carry the camper and do you have any suggestions on a tire with a more agressive tread? Thanks.

New Tire Recommendations
I just bought a set of Bridgestone 'Rib 265' in 235 size. I got 'E' rated because they were only a few dollars more. I was set on a rib tread because the twin 'I' can be unkind to heavily treaded tires, and the rib is much quieter. The truck goes straight and rides well. You can always use lug tires on the rear.
