Rust on hood...What do I do until I paint?
I have a 1988 blue bronco with some rust appearing on the hood, specifically on the crease. What should I do to stop it until I get around to painting it?

The rust you see now, is just the tip of the iceberg. It would be cheaper and less labor intensive, to buy an after market hood. You're laying down new paint. You don't want the rust to bubble through, in six months.

With the price of aftermarket door,hoods it makes sense to replace them. However they are all not created equal. I have found the fit isnt perfect sometimes, but for the price I can live with it.
