Front leafs

Front leafs
i just bought a 2000 F250 4x4 with the gas burner in it and it has a 6inch lift. i used to have a '99 F250 (diesel) with a 6inch lift and it measured 31inches from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender. this truck measures 29inches, so i know the leafs have relaxed 2inches. my question is, is their any way i can get that two inches back without buying new leafs? thanks

i called National Tire in Wheeling WV and they said the only options i had was new hangers ($400) or new front leafs ($400) so for that price i guess i might as well just get the leafs. he said i couldn't do an add a leaf to a aftermarket leaf spring. i don't no.

Add a leaf in my past give you a rough ride, I planning to get some custom made leaf springs made I been told it's a better riding spring and they build it custom for you'r type use including how much lift you want added to it.
I was told National springs leaf sag a lot I looking at atlias springs my self and there about the same price as off the shelf type springs.
