suspension question
I have a 1969 f-250 camper special. I have noticed that the rancho 9000 shocks are adjustable and was wondering whether or not changing to them would soften my ride a bit. another thing is does anyone know what the difference is between the rear suspension on a 1970 f-250 vs. a 1969 f-250? so could i put those rancho 9000 on my truck if they would help.

suspension question
I struggled to find bushings for the leaf springs on my 69. It has a unique suspension that is supposed to provide a smoother ride and still have the load carrying capacity. You should have 4 bushings on each spring. I suspect that the 70 has only 3 bushings. As for shocks, they just need to be the right length. I've got the RS9000s on my 99 F150 and the adjustment is noticeable. I can make it soft and luxurious or reasonably firm.

suspension question
My truck rides awefull but can carry a whole lot with those springs. But i do a lot of freeway driving with no weight in the bed and am going nuts with the amount of bounce that the back end has because the shocks are as stiff as the springs or stiffer. depending on the cost i am also looking at an air bag that you mount between the spring and the body to take some of the bounce out... hopefully it works. I love my truck but i would like to enjoy driving a bit more.
