99 hot air
My dad just recently bought a very nice 99, when running down the road he feels hot air blowing in the cab around his feet, we compared it to my 02 and the 02 came with alot more insulation in that area. We have put some insulation on the firewall but this did not help the problem. You cant see anywhere in the truck or out that air could be getting in, this is with the a/c or without. Has anyone had this happen and what is the fix, thanks guys

My 99 six speed doesn't seem to do it. At least I never noticed it. The later trucks came with more insulation for the same reason the turbo was changed. Ford marketing thought it was too loud.
