Coolant Test Strips?
I've read about coolant test strips being used on heavy duty trucks. Has anyone used these? What are the plusses and minuses? Can you specify a source for a limited quantity?
I'm interested in using these on both my truck and motorcycle.

I use a combination of ph strips (for swimming pools) and an old fashion coolant freeze/boilover tube. What you are checking for is the ph- perfect is 7.2 but no one ever is. I also place a magnesium anode in the overflow and flush the system whenever the ph moves to a 6 or 8 (in 20 years I have never had a ph variance so I only flush about every 10 years.
