Just wanted to let it out that my NOS kit is FINALLY installed and working. Tested it out this am and HOLY COW!! Will be taking her to the track Friday night and I'll post an update on her times Saturday. Wish me luck that the rest of her holds together. lol
God bless all those mechanical parts that will shortly have the power of NOS unleashed upon them. May they hold up to the strain, may they resist the CUMAPART and the DURACRACK catastrophes bestowed upon Power Plants of lesser than SUPERSTROKER status.
are you running with original/stock head gaskets/bolts?
Yep, at the moment. Future plans include Firerings & Stud Kit, Aurora 2000 Turbo and Stage II Injectors. But that's all a little expensive still at the moment. I gotta get the Credit Card paid back down then we'll go to town again. lol
Well, she's officially a 13 second truck! She ran a 13.8 best tonight. BUT, I got spanked by two friggin' Dodge's!! I know what happened and I WILL fix it soon!!!!
So, anybody run a FASS fuel system or know of another auxillary fuel pump? That's the problem. She started starving for fuel even before the 1000 ft marks!! Felt like the computer was backing her down. I know that didn't happen because I disabled all the backdown safeties. So, let's here how to get her more fuel to mix with her NOS!! I'm betting on a 13.2 or 13.3 if I can get her the fuel she needs. Thanks!!
Outstanding time. Congrats. My best time has been 15.01. Need to get to the dragstrip and see what I now run with the traction bars and Eaton PosiTraction.
