E4OD problems ?
ok i just put a new rebuilt E4OD in and the cooler and torque converter, took the truck out on the road and started to drive it and it shifted really nice and then i kicked off the OD and then after that it wouldnt shift past 2nd.

When you turned off O/D, did the truck downshift to third or did it go straight to second?
Were you moving when you turned off O/D and if so how fast?
Does the 1-2 shift seem normal and do you have any other symptoms?

sounds like you soaked up the fluid. Check your levels. Make sure that its still full. After that, make sure that the linkage on the side of the tranny didnt lose the nut or come loose off the retaining bracket.
