What is this called
Just a quick question. I have a 88 F250 5.8 dual tanks. I removed the front tank to change the sending unit. I removed the fuel lines and sending connector with no problem. I then removed the other part that I an trying to identify. This appaers to be a check valve? It is a plastic piece that slips into the tank on the high side through a rubber gromet and has two rubber hoses that connect to it. In removing this peice part of it broke off in the hose.
My question ..what is this piece called, and is it available through parts store or Ford Dealer?

Thanks for the info. Went to two dealers and neither stocked the part. Said they could order it at a $45 price tag. Checked four parts stores no one has a aftermarket listed. Decided I would try a scrap yard. Should have went there first. Scrap yard had numerous Ford trucks. Found the part spoke to the owner he said " hah give me couple bucks" $2.00 and out the door I went. This place will see me again for those trival little out priced aftermarket parts.
