I replaced the clutch on this car, everything went fine. Now theres a ticking coming from the the tranny, I think the tranny. The ticking is equal to the speed of the car, like a brake rubbing. The brakes are fine, replaced the driveshaft, still ticking. any ideas? I didn't notice the ticking before I started this job, it could have been there before, its not my car and I didn't test drive it cause the clutch was toast.
Sounds like it may be the speedometer cable. Funny, but I don't hear a thing from here. How loud is it?
Like someone tapping a pencil on a table, real fast. I'll pull the cable and drive it like that tonight.

Yea, I woud have my life on it. When I reinstalled the drivers side, the inner joint felt like pulled out and popped back in. Thats what I meant by the drive shaft.
I think I narrowed it down to the tranny, I just don't see how I could have done the damage. I volunteered to work on the car while aunts out of the country doing humanitarian mission work. So like the Booze Bros., this is practically a mission from God, I gotta get it right.
