I live in Oklahoma, and as such, it's always hotter than fourty hells. I know I can't wax my truck when it's too hot out, but how hot is too hot? Right now it's 86F, but I do have my truck parked in a garage with an overhead fan on (the kind that blows air out the top of the building, not a celing fan), and my truck's not been running today, other than to move it inside.
Is it safe to wax it right now, or do I need to wait until later?
Your truck should not be hot to the touch. The garage should be the answer to this. Meguairs has a great site that gives tons of tips on getting the best out of your truck's finish. After spending a lot of time there myself, I'm not satisfied with just a wax anymore.
