I purchased a 03 7.3 f250 last fall after owning a v10 for a couple of years what a difference. i was wondering if anyone could tell me how these trucks sound with the factory exhaust system but with out the muffler. thanks

i put in a straight through muffler from Walker(BTM) Sounds pretty good outside, lots of whistle, but the sound inside didn't change at all. From what I here straight piping it is pretty close to the same.

I could never figure out why Ford put just a monster muffler on their Powerstrokes..It is definitely not needed.
