I have a 2006 Super Duty crew cab with a creaking sound coming from the passenger side back window area. It only seems to do it when i am turning, anyone experienced this?
A lot of the trucks will make creaky sounds as the body flexs on the frame. Usually it is the rubber bushings making the noise. Some people will shoot the buishings with silicone spray. Becareful to choose something that isn't oil or solvent based. Some sprays will eat rubber bushings.
Also have had experience with running boards and aftermarket body addons making noise. I usually crawl around under the truck at each oil change and grab and shake anything I can get my hands on. You would be surprised how many loose items you will find over time. Things like exhaust hangers, running board mounts, exhaust shields, "crash pan" shields over the gas tank etc.
My '05 did the same thing. Noises stopped after everything settled in after a couple of months. Still get a few squeaks but only when hauling heavy in the bed. Of no concern to me. Normal I think.
