Anybody have an extra set of seat brackets? My original seat was missing when the truck was returned after being stolen. I had an '80 F150 project that I had to get rid of to make room and I kept the seat out of it. It looks o.k., but doesn't fit just right. It's enough of a difference for me to notice and it bugs me. Are there other year trucks with the same mounts/seats that I can use?
Everything with a single, tilt, backrest, has brackets that will fit & work from any standard cab 65-79.
Brackets from the Supercabs with split backrest (2 pc bench backs like tudor or coupe had) will NOT work as they position seat/cushion part wrong. . . . but they will fit.
Crew cabs seats don't tilt so they probably won't work at all.

Yeah there are plenty around if ya know what you're seeking.
FWIW, the universiality of these 65-79s [generally speaking O'course] are what keep me tuned in.
I took my in cab tank out years ago and stuck a Super Cab split back bench in there, now I can access that huge stowage area behind my seat while I'm behind the wheel, by just tilting the other side seat back forward. . . . It has OEM 79 F-150 tracks because they were so very clean & pristine. . . . I had to have them!
