Motor issues
Yesterday while driving down the interstate at 70 mph my 95 5.0 lost power completely then died. Pulled over to the side of the road and tried to restart. No matter what I could not get it restarted. Later last night After jumping it I did get it to fire. It is running smooth but has an upper end tick to it.. Its not a rod knocking the sound isnt as deep toned as I have heard other motors make on their last leg. I cant tell if its a lifter or what it is. I have no clue hear guys!! Any help?? I really dont want to do a motor swap dont have the time and cant justify the cost of a crate motor.
